Learn to live a mindful life:
Research-based mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and character education programming for children, teens, educators, and families.
Hello, I’m Urvi —and it’s wonderful to meet you!
Drawing upon a lifelong passion to create healthy connections between people and how they experience life, and inspired by how mindfulness has transformed my own life, I teach evidence-based mindful practices, character development, and empowerment tools. I share an experiential approach to show young people and the adults in their lives how to connect with their wise self that is already there, present inside of them!
As a teenager, I spent my free time volunteering at the hospital and teen helpline, apprenticed with a classical homeopathic doctor and visited the elderly in hospice. I then went on to achieve a Finance degree and career focusing on strategic and competitive pricing and business analytics with some of the largest Global telecom and pharmaceutical, and consumer goods companies. I also draw upon a lifetime of experience in meditation and contemplative practices to share the benefits of mindful programs with parents and teachers.
I began a meditation practice in 1992, and my formal teacher training began in 2015 with Dr. Jagdish Dave as a mentoring relationship and co-teaching in the classroom. I continue an ongoing learning relationship to deepen my teaching skills and spiritual growth. I’ve completed Dr. Amy Saltzman’s Still Quiet Place Teacher Training Program, the Applied Compassion Training (ACT) with the CCARE at Stanford, and also the Inward Bound Mindfulness Education Teacher Training for teens and adolescents. And I belong to the FocusedKids, MIndfulSchools, and iBme Professional Development Group for mindfulness teachers. I am an ambassador of compassionate action to flourish in all the lives that I touch!
To grow my personal practice and understanding, I’ve attended 10-day silent meditation retreats in the Vipassana tradition, and trained with extraordinary teachers including Steve Hickman, Lorrain Hobbs, Jorg Mangold, Dr. Amy Saltzman, Dr. Jagdish Dave, Jessica Morey, Monica Hanson, Neelama Eyres, Robert Cusick, Dr. Doty, Marvin Belzer, Diana Winston, Dave Potter and Enlightened living Guru’s from the Wisdom Traditions of the East.
Thanks for being curious about me and what I do as a mindfulness coach. I look forward to learning more about you and meeting your bright, wise self! Get in touch and we can explore how we can walk this path mindfully together, side by side, step by step!

LEARN WITH COACHES, COMMUNITY, AND MORE...
You want to raise happy, confident, and compassionate children...and feel a sense of connection and joy in your family.
Staying grounded and handling your emotions can sometimes feel like an impossible feat.
We’re all human...and in the heat of the moment, we often react instinctively. We yell or say things we later regret.
And while feeling fear, anxiety, or guilt is common - it doesn’t have to be part of your parenting journey.
We’ve got proven mindful solutions to help you experience a paradigm shift in your parenting and bring calm back into your family life - even amidst your hectic schedule.
Our mindfulness classes and coaching weave into your daily life to help you model, teach and practice:
Maintain calm and ease – even in the heat of the moment
how to communicate in a healthy way
Social-emotional Resilience
Manage stress effectively and
Hhealthy self-care
Navigate challenges skillfully and with compassion with a little bit of practice and the right guidance, any parent or teacher can be a strong role model.
Research confirms that behavior is shaped in our early years - and we learn from observing others.
When adults model prosocial behaviors like empathy, compassion, kindness, and gratitude children naturally learn them too.
But we know that finding the middle ground - one that doesn’t involve punishment or surrender - can be hard.
That’s why we give you actionable tools to practice a more mindful approach...even when life presents challenges.
What is Mindfulness...and how can it make you a more empowered parent? Or conscious teacher?
Mindfulness helps you create the space from which you can replace impulsive reactions with compassionate responses.

5-Minute Practice
How mindfulness changes your biology
Finding it hard to maintain a regular mindfulness practice or integrate it into important areas of your life such as parenting or teaching?
Don’t worry, you’re not alone. Here’s the good news: thanks to neuroplasticity you can build new pathways to relate mindfully...even in the heat of the moment!
Mindfulness builds the self-awareness to break free of negative conditioning by disengaging coupled neural pathways - the ones that cause you to react impulsively. Instead, it allows you to amplify activity in neural pathways associated with the skills and behaviors you want to strengthen through the power of your focused attention.
“Where attention goes, neural firing flows and neural connection grows.” - Dr. Dan Siegel
